friday was another great day here in AZ. the morning was spent at a breakfast with one of ben's mentors - talking about the discipleship mentoring process, why it's important and why these kids should take the initiative now in their lives.friday afternoon was a break time and then the early evening was spent with a homeless outreach that amadeo does every friday evening. this is a consistent presence that some people from the church have in a local community center/park. interestingly enough, the core team that does this have a lot of unchurched people on the team.
decompression included the idea of a person of peace and having fun identifying who that is is san clemente [the apt complex that hosted vbs] and some of the stories behind that.
