I've been doing some research since returning from AZ - yes, research on facebook.
The dialogue on there - statuses, pictures, videos, wall-to-wall conversations - is a gold mine for gauging the emotional responses from our trip. Not only that, it's fun to see who else was/is following the team and trip closely - it's a well connected world we live in.
Two other thoughts:
1 - sometimes that biggest fans are on the fringe.
2 - my developer talent consistently asks, "what can we do to engage this person to catalyze growth?"
