When Greg introduced me he mentioned how I had been his leader when he was in high school.

It was like God gave me this whole thought at once and I began talking and unpacking it (sometimes not a good idea but this time it worked out).

Before I began my planned talk I told them about 2 Corinthians 1:20 "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God." I reminded them that God had promised Abraham that he would make his descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky. How can that promise be yes to us? I was looking at it right there. I told them how I loved them and prayed for them 10 years ago - when they were in kindergarten. My spiritual grandchildren. THEY were the fulfillment of a huge promise God made to me. My faithfulness in ministry was honored by God and I was looking at the result.

I was tearing up before I even began.

Our relationships in ministry MATTER.amy@flexibledreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12206368426936653795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3961745.post-35795057424900368892010-04-15T11:09:48.429-04:002010-04-15T11:09:48.429-04:00KD - dude you are integral to them.KD - dude you are integral to them.tony shenghttp://tonytsheng.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3961745.post-44530224833807209092010-04-15T11:00:36.419-04:002010-04-15T11:00:36.419-04:00I love your perspectives.
